Azul is a tile-placement game in which players compete for the highest score by claiming tiles and arranging them on their board to score points. Extra points are on offer for collecting sets of the same colour of tile, or for creating particular patterns, while there are penalties for taking tiles that you’re unable to use. But every tile that you claim affects what your rivals can take next. You’ll have to make choices that help you without helping them too much!

Azul Mini is a simplified version of the popular tile- replacement board game, designed for two to four players and typically takes around 20 minutes to play.

In the game, players take turns drafting tiles from a central pool and placing them onto their individual player boards. The goal is to create sets of tiles in specific patterns to score points. At the end of each round, players score points based on the completed patterns and lose points for any leftover tiles.

The game is played over a series of rounds, with the player who scores the most points at the end of the game being declared the winner. The mechanics of the game are simple to understand, making it accessible to both children and adults.

One of the standout features of Azul Mini is its compact size. The game comes in a small tin box, making it easy to transport and play on the go. The small size also makes it an ideal game for playing in tight spaces or on small tables.

Despite its simplified mechanics, Azul Mini still offers a great level of depth and strategy. Players must carefully consider which tiles to draft and where to place them on their player boards to maximize their score and prevent penalties.

Overall, Azul Mini is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fun and challenging board game that can be played quickly and easily. Its small size and simple mechanics make it a great choice for beginners, while its strategic depth will keep experienced players engaged and coming back for more.
