A tree-growing abstract strategy game where you make your planet the greenest and most fertile of all!

Evergreen is a tree-growing abstract strategy game for 1-4 players by Hjalmar Hach, designer of the award-winning game Photosynthesis, where your goal is to build a lush ecosystem, planting seeds, growing trees, and placing other natural elements on your planet, trying to make it the greenest and most fertile of all.

1 – Pick a Biome card from a common pool to determine the area of your Planet youre going to develop each round.

2 – Grow your Trees, plant Bushes, and place Lakes to create a huge Forest, and use the power of Natureto gain extra Actions!

3 – Concentrate your Trees in the most Fertile areas and let them collect Light without overshadowing each other to score points!

Craft your own strategy! Pick cards from the drafting pool for the Biome they allow you to develop, or for the Power they activate. But thats not all! Even the cards you do NOT choose are just as important, since the least chosen biomes become more Fertile, and thus more valuable!

Try to keep your Trees close to each other to score points for your biggest Forest but you also want them to collect as much Light as possible without shading each other, so be mindful of the position of the sun!

Just like in Evergreen, we believe it is important to take good care of our planet in real life. Thats why we are proud to say that all the components of the game are developed to be as sustainable as possible.

Additionally, Evergreen supports Trees for the Future, a humanitarian and nonprofit organisation training communities and farming families across 9 countries in sub-Saharan Africa on sustainable land use, so that they can grow vibrant economies, thriving food systems, and a healthier planet.
